Today when I was Wal-Mart getting more files for sanding seam lines I spotted a portable manicure system made by Trim that might work for smoothing puttied seam lines on our models. This device is much smaller than a Dremel and is powered by two AA sized batteries and might be low powered and small enough to work safely with plastics. When I have a chance to use it I will let you know if it works or not.
I will post a pic of it when I can

Yes, yes, I saw this by the Wal*Mart check-out here, too, and considered it.
Please advise if it works!

JHM,

Will do, this weekend I should be able to give it a try. For only a few dollars I thought why not try it, and if it works it could save lots of time while sanding down puttied seam lines or polishing rough areas before painting.

If anyone in the UK sees this please let me know as it looks perfect for my needs. I have a variable speed Dremel but this runs to fast for plastics, and my modified electric toothbrush has just failed its MOT.
