I've just decided that my SuperTomcat needs an update. I'm going to chop up the F-14 fuselage and add Hornet parts to make a powerful, but smaller USN interceptor. To a lot of you, it will have a Flanker look to it, but it will have to do for now. ;)  :)  Start up the blade!

Can you teach me how to do that, Eddie?

Magic!

Hey very nice, but I would "renumber" it as F-32 was surely the designation reserved vor the X-32 if it was choosen for production as the JSF !

Cheers, Deino   :D

Not exactly...

We have F-35 only beacause... some general said so! :) He made a mistake I belive and the whole world have F-35, now... (it is not the first time it happens!).

F-35 should be F-24, AFAIR.
X-35 should be F-25, I think.

wow, yet another interesting kitbash.  You know, some Hornet and Tomcat fans would freak out about this...
Man, we should have cloned twenties. Jackson wouldn't have given a poo-poo.

Looks like theusual "mess" before putty and glue, so this means this will become yet another nice build! :P

If I can jerk a purest chain a bit, all the better. ;)    In reality, I've only had one guy get upset  (or so it seemed) because I bashed a Hornet and a Phantom. :) Also, this way, I might be able to use my other SuperBug decals for this one. ^_^  I still have to work out where I'm going to hang ordinance and the length of the nose gear. Always something.  :P

I thought this was re-worked into the Flankenstein?

Im a Tomcat fan and i love it in all forms, lost track of how many Hornet with F-14 nose, F-4 with F-14 nose and pylons, etc. Tomcats look good no matter what

Hi Eddie,

Found another one of your topics hidden in the general modelin forums.  Is this project still on the work bench?

Hey Jeffry!
This one has given has given up it's parts for the Flankenstein and Ayegor. Not a bad sacrifice I hope.:)

I'm right there with you on that one. I was fortunate to be able to work with VF-1 and VF-2 back in my Navy days. Never got tired of seeing that bird fly!
