It's not known how many Storch Dreirad's were converted, but this shot proves that the stories are true! Believed, first designed in 1943, they saw limited service on the Eastern Front, and in France.

Model :Airfix 1/72 Fi-156 Storch, with main undercart reglued to the rear. Nose wheel from P-39 Aircobra and the faring holding the nose leg, ?

Nice one, Glenn and totally convincing! I'm sure if it was displayed at a show you'd have more than a couple of "experten" arguing it was real! It just looks sooo right with a tricycle undercarriage!

Yeah, Glenn, tricycle carriages rock!!!

The Camo and the spinning spinner add to the realism of this build. The B&W photo really set it in a time long gone.

Good job!

It reminds me a little bit of a long legged version of the Beagle A. 109 Airedale.

Very convincing Glenn, you have this photo manipulation thing down to a science!
