You know, it's a proven fact that spats increase the coolness factor of any aircraft by 1000%!

I can't wait to see this one completed! I'm assuming late-war RAF camo and markings?

I was thinking early RAF prototype camouflage scheme (green & brown upper + yellow undersides). Both the Spitfire and Hurricane parts are from Mk1's and the Wright R-1820 engine was available from the mid 30's, I think even the Russians used it for early test versions of the I-16 Rata.

Hmmmm... Spats.... They would look cool and could be useful too if the torque on take off put excess strain on retractable gear. I'll think about that.

That early RAF camo with yellow undersides is one sexy scheme! Will you be adding the yellow P in a circle too?

Wow I can't wait to see this one!

Oh yes. I have quite a number of yellow circle P's from Fantasy Printshop.

Well, if you ask me, that's how the Gee-Bee should have looked like if it went to war - Dangerous - to the enemy!!

Great idea, and intriguing build.

Slow but steady progress with the Thugfire. It's needing far more work on the engine/fuselage blending than I originally anticipated - but it's getting there...

First coat of camo:

Props not fixed yet which is why it looks wonkey...

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.
