Seen here somewhere over the Med, this Ju-87W floatplane. I was going to 'greyscale' the photo but, as the scene was so nice, lets see it naturally!

Model :Airfix Ju-87B with vacform floats. All struts E/green

Nice one again Greg - my favourite Stuka markings as well
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Allan

lovely shot Glenn

it's my fav Stuka marking as well and makes me remember the Revell 1/32 model that I never completed
I've always wondered whether the authorities really approved of that gaudy marking

Nice build Glenn, the floats look like they belong!

Alan, I'd guess the marking being applied at Gruppe or even Staffel level would be allowed by the commander of that particular unit, go higher and they'd no doubt poo-poo it, although I could see them saying yes from a purely propaganda value pov.  Anyone know the complete background to the snake?

Yowsa Glenn another winner! A Stuka floatplane! Now why didn't I think of that?

It'd be interesting to see it tangle with Mr Howling Mouse's P-40 floatplane.

What a killer shot of that beauty too! Looks great in living color.

Two thumbs up!!

Glad you didn't greyscale it Glenn...it just looks to perfect in colour!

I agree.

And the floatplane Stuka looks completely plausible (reminds me a bit of the French Late 298). Great model.

Nice Stuka and picture!
I hope you do another picture in gray scale.

Mav,
There is a complete story about the Stuka with the Snake painted on the fuselage in one of the Luftwaffe Im Focus booklets, sorry I can't remember which issue the article appeared in.

Glenn,

Looks great - any more pics available?

All hail the God of Frustration!!!

Great work yet again Glenn! Reminds me of the first "Medal of Honor" XBOX game which had a Stuka seaplane in one of the levels.

Another Glenn™ master work

I like it in color, and the camo and markings are spectacular.

It is then, after a double take, that one can start to appreciate the big floaters' look and elegance.

Another winner from Glenn.
I wanted to see it in a monochrome or gray scale like an old photograph too (I blurred out the background image's pixelation a bit too):

Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

Great idea, well modelled, and looks almost believable!
