I found this shop in Oz on EBay: http://stores.ebay.com/ModelOz-Kits-Decals...sQ3amesstQQtZkm

Looking over the various items they have, especially the conversions kits, gives me to think.  The Wedgetail conversion could be combined with a 767 airframe, a lower radome ala' JSTARS, and, possibily, in-flight refueling bits could make a most interesting whif.

I was going to say that they've got a website of their own as well:
OzMods, but that turns out to be a different company.

This would end up looking like the early proposals for the E-10A Multi-Sensor Command & Control Aircraft (MC2A):

The later renditions were based on a 767-400 airframe complete with the swept wingtips.
I saw some of the preliminaries when I was working on Wedgetail.

The Wedgetail conversion appears to be missing the redesigned wingtips with their antenna housings and changed light arrangement (I was very familiar with the wingtip redesign as I did all of the electrical design for the aircraft lighting, internal and external) and the ventral canoe for the lower antennas. Also the DIRCM turret doesn't look quite like their drawing.

Cheers, Jon

Hi Gang

Euan (Simmie) asked me to put up the following images of a 707 based ASW bird he had found.

Hi Gang,

GTX

Interesting to see the insides.   As mentioned it was proposed to/developed for Canada's Long Range Patrol Aircraft competition (to replace the Argus in Canadian service) - I believe it came down to being between this and the CP-140.  I believe it was also intended to be proposed to Australia.  Here are some other pics:

Maybe some profiles?

Greg
