Back in 1992 I wrote to James Gurney to ask him to verify plans I'd done of his sub, Remora. On answering me, I fould that he was a modeller as well and we've been writing ever since. About four years ago, I started two projects, Arthur's Strutter and then Crabbs' Strutter. All my Dinotopian models are 1/16sc, and the only part of this model that is 'kit', is the figure of Arthur. The next time I work on it, I should have the rear legs, feet and gearing mechinism finished. I've still got the tail, (aaaaaaahhh!) and the head windscreen to do, so I should finish it before I'm buried.

The figure was the Dragon unterofficer, Eastern Front 1/16.
Most of the rest, fibreglass and MDF.

I have no idea what you're talking about, but that's a pretty fine piece of modelling  B)
Between almost-true and completely-crazy, there is a rainbow of nice shades - Tophe

Sales of Airfix kits plummeted in the 1980s, and GCSEs had to be made easier as a result - James May

Wow, Glenn, You're my hero!!!
To scratchbuild such a wonderful model sure requires imagination and craftsmanship.

I woudn't have guessed you covered the master plug with fiberglass. I'm interested in learning something about that, Do you have some tips, or advise?

Yeah, i thought you were building a Sopwith 1/2 Strutter of WWI !!
King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

Nive work, Glenn! It's got a very H.G. Welles' "Time Machine" look about it.
