Dash 7

Kurly and I saw it fly over the river low and fast at lunchtime. I was hoping it was going to alight at the Sarnia airport, but subsequent investigation revealed nothing of the sort. Have no idea what/ who it was, but maybe an environmental type or somat.

Anyway, I brought my camera to work this aft in the hopes of seeing it again.

Low and fast? Might have been the Transport Canada one that shoots approaches to calibrate landing aids.

But he was nowhere near the airport. Besides, the Chally was here late last year doing that.....which is always a good show ! And the time before that, it was a TC Dash-8 and not a 7 that was here.

Saw a Twotter fly over the shop this week...all white with red teips on tails and wings. It also had a long probe of some sort on the nose. Love that bird !

What I need to do is buy another. If it wasn't so bloody expensive, I'd have two. I'm just afraid to wreck it toting it around all day...the wifey wasn't to impressed when I high-sided my bicycle on the nature trail and landed on it !

With the speed that these things are advancing you could probably pick up a good used one. Just try to get a Nikon so that you can probably use the same computer software for uploading etc.

That's what I told the wifey...if doesn't slack off with the 'restrictions' on the camera that was bought with my paycheck....I'm gonna go out and buy another !
