I've been a slightly busy beaver constructing my F-39C Griffon. At the moment she's going to me armed for the DEAD role. The load out from left to centerlie and repeated on the other side will be either:

a: AMRAAM, HARM, GASBAG, ECM; or
b: AMRAAM, HARM, JDAM, GASBAG

Can't make up my mind as to which load to go with...

ps. pics to come as soon as I've taken them :P

I'd put the gasbag as close to the centerline as possible.  But that's just this engineer's opinion.

I'd go with the gas tank on the centreline pylon, and JDAM on the inside wing pylons. You could park the ECM underneath one of the intakes.

Damian, how about JSOW instead of JDAM?  If for no other reason than it it looks cool! B)

Now if you want to be adventurous & modify it to Gripen-N configuration, you could could get two JDAM/JSOW etc. on the inboard pylon & two tanks on the fuselage.....
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

All I need is a JSOW in 1/48 :)

I suppose I could hang Apache stand off attack missiles seeing as I have a Tiffy in my scale :) Think the USAF would buy?? HAHA

Ok the cokpit is in and the fuselage has been puttied (now waiting for it to set so PSR can commence). I'm using an ACES II seat and moding it slightly to make the Griffon a side stick controller too.

Also I'm still wondering about the loadout :)

SLAM, or even SLAM-ER is a possibility by converting a couple of Harpoons.  With SLAM, you just need to extend it forward of the main fins, SLAM-ER would be a bit more tricky, but it'd look good.

Find someone who's got the Italeri 1/48 Superbug (early release), you can get a pair of Slam-ERs from that kit.
