John wrote to me and said Volume 3 of TAL be ready until late 2009/early 2010, it seems like a long time from now but time goes so fast anymore I better start building something NOW if I am going to have some new models built and photographed in time for Vol. 3.

That pic of the Macchi C205 in this thread is one of my favorites, the lighting that day was perfect for taking pictures and the colors in that pic look very much like the colors I have seen on some of the photography of that era.
