Well fellas, your moderator finally got around to counting the votes, and before announcing the results, I would like to offer my apologies to all for my own poor showing in this GB.  You know the reasons, but still, I'm sorry for my lack of participation and timely attention to the build.

Now, with that bit of groveling out of the way, we can move on to the results.

In first place, by a fairly large margin with a simply stunning build is:

YSI MANIAIC with his Cuban Mig-27

In second place with a strong following is:

LENNY100 with his BAe P1233 Hurricane II

Followed closely by:

BRIAN DA BASHER with his FL-500 Flunk

If the three offenders, OOPS...I mean winners, would PM me with their addreses I'll get the prizes dispatched shortly.  YSI, please send your choice of prize, and Lenny, please send your top 2 choices.

To refresh the winners on the prize selection, we have:

1/72 Airfix Vulcan
1/48 Hobbycraft A-4 Argentine Malvinas War
"Vulcan 607" by Roland White

Finally, in true Albus Dumbledore fashion I am awarding 1,000,000 additional points to SimonR of Griffindor for his splendid Stormcock FG.1.  Simon's entry was only 1 vote behind Brian, and, since I thought it was a great model I am invoking Rule 6 (There is NO Rule 6!) to award Simon a special Runner Up prize of a set of Hobbycraft 1/48 Argentine A-4 decals in the factory packaging.  Simon, send your address please.

Thanks all for the participation in this build.  Great models from all, as usual!!!
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Congrats to the other winners too & long live rule 6!!!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Archibald

Congrats Ysi!
This Mig was truly gorgeous and well executed!
King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

ysi_maniac

Many thanks to all of you!
