Not my scale but look at the 3 little extra's you get  :o

Right now, I'm drooling at the big Myasischev and the tailed delta-interceptors that it comes with, including an Anakonda

Now to identify those small jets. I'm not too familiar with the earliest jet projects.
left (on the silhouettes drawing): DH Vampire?
middle: ???
right: Gloster E28/39?

gooberliberation

Looks like something Meatier(geddit?) than those other two jets.

Yes, but check the engine nacelles. Those don't look like Meteor nacelles to me.

gooberliberation

If google serves me right, those nacelles look about right for a meteor F.3 or earlier.

I'm sat here thinking "when have RAF C-17s worn full colour roundels?", till I realised its for the 3 bonus aircraft  :dum:

Still, 45 quid for a big resin plane, plus 3 little extras ain't half bad.  If only I had some spare cash to spend.... :(

Sales of Airfix kits plummeted in the 1980s, and GCSEs had to be made easier as a result - James May

If those full-colour roundels are for the bonus aircraft, wouldn't you need more than 7?

Looks like a Vampire, a Meteor of some mark, and the original Gloster jet

Mossie

It's a DH Vampire, Gloster E.28/39 (company designation G.40 & sometimes called 'Pioneer', the first British jet aircraft) & a wartime Meteor, probably an F.3.  The F.1 & F.3's had quite different wings & nacelles to the post-war variants.  I think it's a F.3 because the nose looks shorter than an F.1's, although it's hard to tell from the photo, this & the canopy are the main visual differences between these marks.

Have a look at these comparison pics from Airvectors:

Much more manageable than Arnold's 1/72 kit & easier on the wallet two.  The price isn't too bad at all with those little early British jets, although they don't quite fit the era of the C-17!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Also looks like Anigrand fixed the windscreen on the C-17.  The 1/72 kit was unfixable, and utterly incorrect (rounded center panels rather than a sharp V).

Yep like the guys say, a DH Vampire (some may call it a Spider Crab), a Meteor F1 or F3 and a Gloster E28/39..... D*mn that's a lot of resin !

I've said it before & I'll say it again; Who cares?!?!?  It's a C-17 in 1/72!
