I've decided on a kit from my huge stash. Building a Matchbox 1/72 scale Mystere, which I will add pylons & weapons. Thinking about a retro camo scheme right now.

& can a mod if possible correct my typo in the title..should simply be JSDF

:dum:

For a scheme, an overall painted aluminium finish would be a great canvass for some REALLY colourful unit markings.... but I'm sure you already thought of that....  ;)

....it's time to tidy the workbench"

Confuscious (maybe)

Thanks Ian, I'm still deciding on either a colourful finish or a more tactical one. I tend to go more for "battle" looking aircraft. I have misplaced the instructions which isn't much of a problem as the kit has prob under 20 parts! I have decided I'm going with a Air defence version armed with falcon missiles that I have a few spare of that will probably never be used elsewhere.

Going to start work on it soon.. been a bad month.

Ok, I've finished the build part of my Matchbox Mystere. I've added 2 pylons under the fueslage & 2 under the wings. I'm going to arm it with 2 early Sidewinders & 2 falcons under the wings.

My computer is ancient so all I have so far is some not so great webcam shots. I'll use my digi cam later & download some better ones on another computer.

The build was quick, I have painted the top black & am going to paint the undersides blue. Also might add some splashes of colour on the top half.

After experimenting with different colour scheme ideas I have finally decided on one. So I will finish it up tomorrow & post some decent pics soon.
