Hi fellows

I make this solemn pledge to all of you right here and now of my own free will.

For my next model I will put down my crappy Chinese knockoff of the Paasche H I've been monkeying around with (mostly unsuccessfully) and actually pick up and use the whizbang Taiwanese double action internal mix jobbie I've been petrified to use until now for no real good damn reason!

You are my witnesses.

I think I'll make a 1/72 Sabre as if it was flown by the Luftwaffe--that'll make my introduction to the new airbrush a little easier.

I will also attempt to write shorter sentences.

No Tom it looks like an Iwata HP-B
And by the way, how do you want me to send my contribution to the site? Please suggest a mailing address and I'll send you some US cash.

Once a double-action guy, always a double-action guy!

But......

Make absolute sure to thoroughly clean the airbrush with disassembly, lacquer thinner, very gentle hands, and no chemicals on O-rings.   Needle Juice of some sort is paramount after cleaning....  point Oh-one (.01) drop is all that's necessary otherwise the airbrush will jam.  Gentle hands are required.   And the other requirement is gentle hands.

I've got an Iwata HP-SBS because I shoot in rather small quantities and never metallic and absolutely love the airbrush.   It took about 15 minutes to get used to the spray patterns, a couple of paint sessions to work out the cleaning/lubing techniques properly, but that was it.   Scrap pieces, a sense of adventure, and enthusiasm make the machine sing.

But only you create the precision.

Now, let us spray......... :drink:
