As for progress......I need help with photography. I've got an awesome camera ( Nikon D40X, 10.2 moogli-pixels ) but all my attempts at model photography turn out poo-poo (with an english accent) !

Yup. The flash really doesn't work for taking model pics. If you have a tripod, you can get away with taking the photos indoors. Also, try playing with the settings: increase the F-number to get more of the model in focus (at the expense of having to increase exposure time).

Besides the afore-mentioned natural light and Hobbes' suggestions, you might want to see if there's a "Collection" or "eBay" setting on your camera (I excrement you not, one of mine has an "eBay" setting).  I've used "Collection" on a camera for taking closeups, and it worked great!

Looking great, btw!  Those Dolphins out of Selfridge need company rescuing drunken ice fisherman on Lake St. Claire!   :drink:
