Mossie - I haven't seen the HS. 1202, but as soon as I get done here I'm going to look for it. 

I've had a good look for it on the net before & found no pics, just a few text referrences, but I posted a pic here a while back:

There's a small amount about it in BSP: Fighters.  As far as I remeber, the -11 had a single fin & looked identical to the F-16, except for the size & small detail changes.  Having had a look back in the book, there were twin engined variants (& I have seen the one in the book, D'oh!) but as far as I know none resembled the F-16, although it mentions some were also close to the F/A-18.  I might be wrong, but it seems that the HS.1202 studies were an exercise in exploring different layouts rather than any serious proposal.

I've been looking at the wing too, and it is looking on the smallish side.  I debated making a bigger wing, but I like the idea of a root extension ala F-18.  I'm toying with canards too.  Hmm...this could get interesting.

Well, I dug through the spare parts bin to see what I could do for a bigger wing or canards.  The wing augmentation seems like a lot of work, so I'm going for the uber-canards.  I should have something to show in a couple of days.
