So, I've finally splashed out about got a digital cameron. Beware!



Here's something that I started on Saturday. I got it at my favourite shop, the Victorian Hobby Center just a couple of weeks ago. It's the 1/72nd Amodle Yak-18 night attack kit.



Unless it's particularly complicated, I'll usually do a first draft of the camo with a coat brushed on before assembly starts. This ones has Oxford blue, with dark gull grey and gunship grey (top). I might darken it a bit later with some darker grey bits to dirty it up.



I think it'll be operated by the Italian Communists against the UN held island of Sicily during 1951.

I'll keep you posted as things progress (after I've remove quite a bit of flash).
