Well I'm finally getting around to posting pics from the two air museums I visited in England back in September.

First is the National Museum of Flight-East Fortune, Scotland (Edinburgh)

First up one of my personal favorites-the first Jetstream 31

I hope Santa brings me one of these! (the Trumpeter version).

I hear these were fast....

I cant believe these are in museums now.  I remember when they first entered service.

Big Iron

more of the same...

This old lady had a bit of history about her.

So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Now a few from the North East Air Museum in Sunderland:

Danish Hunter

Another Vulcan-two in two days!  This one isnt as clean as the one in Scotland though.

A little reference material for the Airfix versions in the stash.

And finally...

...you are my sunshine, my only sunshine....

So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Captain Canada

Wow ! Those are the greatest museam aeroplane pics I've ever seen ! So life like ! Awesome stuff.....

;)

Now on a more serious note.....

I do like 'em ! Lucky you, to see a pair of Vulcans like that....wicked. Love the markings on the one. It's also neat to see the Bloodhound. Those things are huge in real life ! Gotta a gree with you about the Tornado, I feel the same way about the Hornet.....seems like yesterday they came on strength, and now they're ac battle damage toys and museum pieces !

Cheers !
CANADA KICKS arse !!!!

Long Live the Commonwealth !!!
Vive les Canadiens !
Where's my beer ?

Good pic's. Especially like the bloodhound pic, more authentic than the one outside the RAF museum at Hendon - that one is painted overall green, same shade for the missile and the launcher. They are big!!! I certainly wouldn't want to be chased by one anyway...
If you love, love without reservation; If you fight, fight without fear - THAT is the way of the warrior

If you go into battle knowing you will die, then you will live. If you go into battle hoping to live, then you will die
