You may recall this interesting 2-in-1 kit that used to be in the "Young Astronauts" line of Monogram products.  Comprised of a 1:48 space scout by transforming a modified 1:144 NASA Space Shuttle.  It's available again from Hasegawa.  A great source of SF-style engine cones, beefy landing gear parts and a hoard of misc greeblies.  Link below has pics of each sprue.

Thanks for the heads up.  I always wanted this kit (not for the shuttle option but the other vehicle).  May have to get 2, one to build and 1 for parts (who am I kidding at that price, maybe Hobby Lobby half price sale).
