Damn!  And I just a short while ago (well OK it was about 18 months or more) got hold of a Rugrat 1/72 resin kit.

Ive got the airway vacform in the loft, hmmm this might just have to be added to the stash...bank balance allowing of course.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Size (of the stash) matters.

Oh good, maybe it'll be so bad we'll be able to use it for an Electra! :)

A P-3 equivalent might be interesting.

Useless piece of information:  The Bee Gees song 'Massachucetts' was written on a Vickers Viscount when Robin Gibb heard a simple melody in the hum of the engines.

I've always thought a 1/72 Viscount would be a hit, bet we'll be seeing plenty of super detailed builds at shows.  As far as I know, the Viscount never entered full RAF service?  I know it flew with the ETPS & the RAE (a Raspberry Ripple Viscount would make a gorgeous show piece) but not the RAF?
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I've found a couple of photos of a -700 that was used by the Canadian Government for years, which was how I was going to build my Rugrat kit.  It had a sort of bronze/yellow (but not as bright as brass [I know someone will make a smart reply to this]) colour stripes down the sides.

The RCAF had an order for ten viscounts at one point. It was cancelled before any of the aircraft were built.
