Any tips on how to deal with this-I have a set I wish to use. The expose them to strong sunlight trick won't work here in the UK winter. (or the summer either!)

cheers and happy new year

it can work over here Van, ive used the trick a few times. just pop the decals in a clear bag then tape it to a window or skylight, and leave for a week or so.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Van, yeah I've had success too, even in the winter months.  It might not work too well if they are very yellow, I think sometimes if it goes past a certain point then they've had it.  Also, if they don't adhere too well, I've heard (but never used myself) that Klear can be used as a very effective setting soloution & also acts to some extent as an adhesive, at least until you can get a few coats on top to pin them down.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

QuoteIt does work but by and large it's probably better to try and get another set of decals.

I've love to get another set-but have failed miserably. It is modeldecal set3 for the F100D Super Sabre

cheers

The tape them to the window trick seems to have worked. They'll probably disintegrate when I use them though knowing my recent luck with models....
