ep I took the box to the MK show...we even had two blokes ask were they could buy the kit. We were totaly honest with every one about it, and told them that it was a spoof, but one we hoped will be come real in due course. And Mike McEvoy is now in no doubt as to the provinace of the TSR on the Airfix stand at the nationals
I always hope for the best.

Hi Martin

I know it wasn't any of us who put the TSR-2 on the Airfix stand, but i heard Neil Robinson say it was one of the IPMS Committee members did it, and Trevor decided to play along and see what interest it created. Obviously alot if Airfix are now checking up to see the how their trader respond to the idea, plus the hoards of Airfix guys who visitedand chatted with the What-if lot at Telford (and this was before Mairfrog and the box arrived for some of them !!!)

Cheers

NB BTW I thinkwe should mention and perhaps display a Heritage box when the TSR-2's are displayed so those modellers who really want a kit can go get one if Heritage are at the show. I know because i did this at our Bolton IPMS show last month as a few people asked about the TSR-2 so i sent them to Martin (Pity he only had the one kit with him, but somebody soon snagged that one - and no it wasn't me !!!)

QuoteMartin, what's that sandy coloured bird on the TSR2 shelf?
Shes work in progress Lee Thats the part started ARBA bird I bagged at Cosford last year.  Shes Ear marked for the South Africans, when I finaly pull the finger out and get it finnished. Oh the sandy colours are were ive been testing varous shades of sand to try and come up with something that looks about right for the springboks.
