In 1/72:

The base kits:  KP Avia B.35, Fujimi A5M2 Claude

In 1/48:

The base kits:  Monogram Stuka, Hobbycraft P-26, Testors/Hawk Travel Air Mystery Ship, and as a "someday" kit, the Hasegawa Val.

Yes it's too many kits to get done within the time frame so the goal is 1. to get one done, and 2. to keep on building spats et infinitis

That's awesome, Daryl! You've got three months, so I'm hopfeul you'll get a couple of these done. Remember, you can actually start on them now if you want as "in-progress or partially completed projects started prior for Nov. 15th ARE eligible."

Best of luck! I hope the other participants share your enthusiasm!

P.S. It's ironic you'd mention the 1/72 Fujimi Claude as my Nichimo version may end up being the prize.

My entries is likely to be some kind of inline engined fighter fitted with radial engine and townend ring   And spats (and possibly parasol wing)

I've got plans to do something really awful to a Lysander. I was going to hold it back as a prize, but I figured that classic Airfix offering is probably one of the few spatted kits just about everyone's built.

What you're going to buck the trend and De-spat something?!  I have to warn you - I've seen a photo of the Lysander without it's spats/trousers - it's quite disturbing!

Greg,

Rumor has it he was going to put spats on all 4 corners, clip the wings, and call it some sort of off-road truck!   :o
