Chaps, I'm back in sesquiplane "mode".
Just applying decals to a "new" SE5E(Sesqui) as flown by James Bigglesworth for my Biggles collection.
I'd lost some instructions, pulled a box that I'd thought just contained odd bits...it did, a complete SE5A in 1/48th (Revell). So now I'll prepare and build that tomorrow night at Stafford's Club night, and I've a very strong urge to modify it with fuel tanks (mounted under the top wing adjacent to the inner struts) and paint it in Israeli colours circa 1925.
The Biggles SE5E(sesqui) is silver dope with nice bright roundels, etc..
He flew it on a Combat Evaluation Flight in "Biggles Tries It Out".....

"When Biggles saw the new fighter he was amazed yet excited. He noted the unusual wing arrangement, so like some German designs. 'But anything the Hun can do, we can do better!' thought Biggles.
'I don't like this silver dope though Wilks,'commented Biggles to his friend, Wilkinson of 287 Squadron,'It's far too bright for me!'
'The Prof says it'll help this new craft look invisible in the sky,' explained Wilkinson with a grim look playing around his lips.

Strewth, rigging's a fuzzy bunny!!

Only put 4 pieces on my SE5E(S) and it's a real pain.
All finished now though.

On with the base.
Got to do a fully-winged Camel next though....aaarrrggghhhhhh!!!!

Sesquiplanes (or even better, monoplanes!!) are the way forward

Meanwhile, Biggles flies on

A winged horse is a pegasus, no idea whast you'd called a winged camel.....  :drink: :drink: :drink:
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.
