I hope this comes out OK. This is just my second time posting pictures here.

I just finished this kit a couple of weeks ago. I took first place in the Hypothetical category this weekend at our local contest of the Silicon Valley Scale Modellers. The A/C is overall RLM 82 Dark Green with RLM 76 mottle. The missile is RAL6003 Olive Green like a V2. The work number on the missle is taken from an aftermarket decal sheet for V-1's and V-2's. All the decals on the A/C are various aftermarket sheets since no decals come with the kit.  I think I spent more time on sanding the bodies of the 2 kits to make them round enough and the A/C cockpit has been hogged out and scratch built to provide the prone pilot seat and harness and display.

That's one heck of an introduction, Mark! Great job on the mottled camo. Welcome to the asylum!

That looks great, Mark! I made the Unicraft version because it looked like a "quick" build. I remember the endless sanding and the burnt paper (and fingerprints!) embedded in the plastic.

I even used the same ex-Heller Fi-103/Natter stand! Or did that one come with the RS model?

Great job on the canopy and interior, which I thought would have been very cramped for the pilot.

Thanks for the comments everyone.

Sisko, the canopy was dipped in Future before it was cut out. It was the very last thing I put on after everything was complete. I attached it with a very thin application of white glue and one other product which I can't remember right now. I needed to fill in a slight gap between the canopy and the A/C fuselage and it worked wonders.

Frank, the stand came with the kit but I added the "siding" piece on to the front of the stand for a slight height increase because I needed to have the front part of the missle level with the back part.

Next time I'll make the pictures a little smaller. Didn't realize they would still come out so big even after I resized them.

Nice intro.

I wouldn't make them too much smaller - their quite fine as they are now.

Very, very cool.  I know the description reads "rocket" so what is the "lip" visible around each airframe if not a ramjet intake, etc.?
