my RN Skyray is almost finished, Halfords Rover Tempest Grey over Appliance White and it looks pretty much spot on, maybe slightly too dark, but close enough for me. It looked a bit brown after the first coat but looks fine after a couple of coats. I also got 3 cans of what might be suitable for USAF SEA dark green/green/sand camo, I'll keep you posted...

I refuse to play as France in Medieval:Total War for the same reason, it just doesn't feel right........    


No, I may go for one of the more exotic FAA schemes, or perhaps that lovely 2 tone grey RCN scheme - tho I don't know if that was still in use in the late 50s/early 60s.
