Anyone know where I can get 1/72nd or 1/76th WW1 era cars or vehicles?
For an aircraft diorama but I'd like a car or two, but not a whacking great tank.
Figures are no problem as I've various alternatives.
Thanks,

Terry

Thanks.
Buying a couple of HaT 1/72nd FT-17s, and there's some Fuel Trucks by someone (forget who!!) in plastic 1/72nd, French WW1 so ideal as fillers for dioramas.
And not expensive either.
Ideal for "Biggles" too as they seemed to borrow anything!
For the later Biggles period, in the '30s trough to the '60s, there's acres of stuff!

Try some of the model railway stockists - I expect there are some available there.

Got some cars, etc., in 1/72nd today in a sale....Minis, ok for '60s and '70s dioramas.
Then there's quite a lot of 1/72nd armour around, and trucks in 1/72nd, some even applicable to WW1 including Ford Model T Ambulance which can be painted differently of course.
I've tried the railway stuff and ordered an Austin 8 little chappy for about £5. Ready built, 1/76th scale (ie OO).

Rad, sounds from your description you've found them but RPM do a few Ford Model T variations as well as several versions of the Mack Bulldog.  Emhar are well known for doing WWI armour (Whippet, Mk.IV & A7V) & figures.

A Polish Company called Modelkrak do a number of WWI aromoured cars & trucks.  Not sure of any suppliers, but I think you can get them in the UK.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

cheers, Mossie.
I've ordered the stuff I want....just a few vehicles really to add interest to an aircraft diorama....a vehicle here, figure there, and so on.
The RPM stuff looks OK.

I'll probably pick up other stuff at shows.
