Happy mothers day to your mom.  Now how the heck did you do that   1/48 is just barely big enough. I used to paint miniatures ,but to build a model that small and then put on decals  :banghead: Man that is some skill.

Thank you All for the compliments. i'm glad you enjoy it.

sotoolslinger,
I used the decals from a 1/48 B.A. Hornet and just hoped it would look right. I had a near disaster. The first B.A. decal disintigrated upon removal from the paper :banghead:. Luckly it stayed together long enough to place it. The rest has been a lot of holding my tongue just right to get them on. If the rest of this build finishes out well, it will be a nice addition to the whif B.A. Collection I have going. (F/A-18E, F-15 and the Blue Goon <_<.)

Nice quick/clean build Mr. M...... never been able to work that quickly m'self (even prior to the arrival of Baby Hunter-Gatherer ) - gotta admit to being a wee bit envious !

Not as quick as I would have liked, but it was less than a week. ;D

Here is the Blue Goon.

Clever...you swapped the 1:144 one with the Monogram 1:48 version at the end.
Very clever.

Oh boy....that's good.  Really good.

Looks like something that really should have existed.  You could have some fun with the JMN with this one.

Nicely done.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

Beautiful!  It needs a brace of Blue Angel Bearcats!  Seriously cool.  And  you could definitely have the rivet-counters scratching their heads with that one.

Phreakin' phenomenal, Eddie! Very impressive in such a small scale. Few schemes are hotter than the Blue Angels! My hat's off to you!
