Hi Everyone,

With school taking up most of my time and the rest of it being taken up by the Fiat :banghead:, I have not been able to do much building. However, now that school is out I hope to change that. To get the creative juices flowing again, I decided to build something simple. Below is the Vought XF6U Starfighter as I've dubbed it, I test flew it today and after working out a few "kinks" I was pleasantly suprised by how well it handled. As it's not a plastic model, I was a little hesitant to post it but I thought you all might be interested.

Specs
Wingspan: 18in
Length: 16.75in
Weight: 79.5g
Finish: Wal-Mart acrylics, water slide decals and Future floor polish clear coat.

Great stuff Chap!  I know this site caters for mostly plastic stuff, but I don't see any reason why flying models or any other type shouldn't be posted.  I've seen a handful of flying model whiffs, it'd be good to see them here.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

It's great to see you posting again, Chap and I really like the look of your "Starfighter", espeically the nod to the "Pengie" series.

Very cool!

You are right noxioux, Soviet is much more fitting...the thought never occured to me. Though I know what I will do for the next one. ;D

That's great Scooter, glad to know there is a fellow R/Cer here. As for specs the motor is a GWS EDP-50, speed controller is a GWS ICS-50 2amp, servos are HE Hobby HES-490's, reciever is a GWS six channel and the battery is a Kokam 340mah 2cell.
