Used by the Regia Aeronautica from 1936, the Breda 71 first saw action in Italian East Africa, bombing the native tribesmen. This photo taken in North Africa in 1941.
Of the 127 aircraft built, by the start of the North African campaign, only 57 remained in service. Designed as a light bomber, these aircraft were used up until 1943 when the last was destroyed by the RAF.

Darn! That's ugly (this greenhouse canopy looks very Amiot or Farman!) but so imaginative! Cool kitbash...
King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

Now that really does look like a late 30's Italian "Colonial" bird.

I've heard of greenhouse canopies but you should have tomatoes in that one  ;)

Love it

Chris
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
