Desert Pink Hornet. Got the kit used for about 6 bucks and then it disappeared into the closet for a few months. After hitting a bit of a modeling slump i decided it was time to clean off the hobby table and start fresh with a new project then i remembered the Hornet. I wanted a simple build which is why it is devoid of a cockpit, i did however scratch build new engines for a futuristic look and a few pieces here and there too. I used Pylons from a Rev/Mon Tomcat for the top mounted missiles which i have always liked on the Jaguar. i wanted to go for a lightly armed scout look. I used confetti for nose sensors but i don't know if that shows in the pictures, and pearlescent nail polish for the exhaust. It is well weathered, i know Des Pink jets in the Gulf War got dirty quick and i wanted this jet to look used and abused, as recon jets are never without work.

Looks great and a bit futuristic with that exhaust. Love the painting and weathering job.
