Following on from the earlier units with yellow/black markings, this thread is for units which have an Eagle or Eagles for their markings.  Doesn't just have to be planes btw.  Why I want this will be revealed at a later date ;)

23 Squadron RAF

Like this game!

RAF Eagle Squadrons:

71 (Eagle) Sqn, the first Eagle Squadron:

The 334th Fighter Sqn of the USAAF was formed with the pilots & Spitfires of 71 Sqn:

133 (Eagle) Sqn, the third Eagle Squadron:

121 Sqn, the second Eagle Squadron badge had the head of Indian tribesman, so I haven't included it.

107 Sqn, two headed eagle:

Oh, & threw this one for good measure!

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Some more:

140 Tajeset IAF/DF 'Golden Eagle Squadron' (note small traditional emblem between the wings of the more modern full tail emblem)

USN VFA-195 'Dambusters', two special schemes on the same aircraft 'Chippy Ho!'

AdA EC 1/12 'Cambresis'

Well RAF 11 Sqn. goes without saying.

There is also RCAF 423 Sqn. which is still active as a Sea King Unit:

RCAF 405 Sqn. is also an eagle squadron:

As is 400 Sqn:

You know, because they're often black on the aircraft, I always thought 11 Sqn's emblem was a pair of Ravens.  Looking at the squadron badge, it's obvious they're Eagles, you learn something new every day!  There motto to is 'Swifter & Keener than Eagles', but in my defence it's usually in latin!

This ones been a hard ask Nev!  Anyway, some USN units:

VFA-122

VAQ-134 'Garudas', actually a Hindu bird like God but close enough for me at least

VF-51

VFA-82

Some others that I've been found badges for in books but can't find images on the net:

Ilmaviomat HavLLv 21
Kuwait Air Force No 9 & 25 Squadrons

I've found it's not always easy to tell if the bird is a falcon, hawk or eagle (or even a God or Raven!) purely from the unit marking, I take it you're just after eagles?  So come on Nev, give us a hint, what are these squadrons for?  Some kind of Tiger Meet alternative?

Some (West) German units.  Similar to the US, the eagle symbology is heavy in the German armed forces & this filters down into many units.

Luftwaffe JaboG 32

Luftwaffe JaboG 33, not sure if this is an eagle or not

Luftwaffe JaboG 38.  The eagle emblem on the badge is small, but it's there.

Luftwaffe Waffenschule 50

Marineflieger MFG 1

More again!  All special schemes.

Polemikí Aeroporía (Hellenic Air Force) 226th Bomber Squadron

Aeronautica Militare 2 Stormo

Aeronautica Militare 32 Stormo

Vazduhoplovstvo I PVO (Serbian Air Foce & Air Defence) 204th Air Base

Vzdušné síly armády České republiky (Czech Air Force) 28 Fighter Bomber Regiment

You are good at this game Simon ;)

Meanwhile, I of course forgot, amongst others 302 and 306 Hikotai..

As for what they are for?  Well, every Roman Legion had its own Eagle standard, back in the day.  So of course their Air Force has to have its own Eagle ;)

Those Luftwaffe/Marineflieger units will make fine Auxilia squadrons :)

Ah, penny drops!  Do you want these more for a back story Nev, or are you intending to print decals from them?  If you're printing, it might be better that I post the unit badges.

Again, if you're after decals, Games Workshop have their version of an Imperial Eagle from the Warhammer 40K universe.  It's available on plenty of decal sheets, you can also get raised plastic versions if you wanted to use them on tanks & such.  You could probably adapt it quite easily to a single head.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.
