Basler DC.3 conversion, N707BA,  used by US. Department of State Air Wing (DoSAW)

i'm not going to comment on the role of protecting the Afgan poppy fields, but its stated role is drug eradication/assault !

The Narcotics Affairs Section (NAS) Aviation Unit of the Kabul Embassy manages the aviation assets in conjunction with units from the Afghan National Army (ANA) and Afghan National Police (ANP).

Sic biscuitus disintegratum!

Cats are not real.
They are just physical manifestations of collisions between enigma & conundrum particles.

Any aircraft can be improved by giving it a SHARKMOUTH!

It's not a what-if ?
76 years after his first fly , the DC-3 is always "at war" !

I really love this plane !
Never dead , just more faster . ( Like this old Chevy )

Might have to do that with Italeri's SM.81 Pipistrello, Trumpeter's SM.79,  or a Revell 1/48 Ju-52 and put it in the Time Warp TB.    :o

I found the WB-57's real world presence there odd.   Nice unintentional photo of it online available where it's just visible between the MLG of a Reaper.

as they say. Only one thing can replace a Dakota.

Another Dakota :)
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.
