Radish

I believe the Pucara is MRM(??) Etendard (Heller), Mirage (Heller), A-4 (Airfix....40 years old?) , Harrier (Airfix).
Once you've visited the land of the Loonies, a return is never far away.....

Still His (or Her) Majesty, Queen Caroline of the Midlands, Resident Drag Queen

The Airfix Falklands set :-

Sea Harrier = Italeri (ex Esci)
Harrier GR3 = Airfix
Skyhawk  = Airfix
Dagger = Pioneer
SuE = Airfix/Heller
Puccara = Special Hobby with extra sprue to replace Resin bits

These are the kits in the box (I've got the set)

The other two, the Mirage though I'm fairly certain is the Airfix or Heller kit as it doesn't look like Pioneer;

You also get this:

Some people have commented on another forum that all the kits are covered in flash, as you can see here flash is minimal if non-existant.  The Airfix Harrier for instance is 100's of % better than the individual example I bought a few years ago.

Thanks a lot.

BTW: that is the Pioneer/PM. Believe me, absolutely inaccurate :rolleyes:

OK, I believe you but it is in reasonable condition.  So what's the problem with it Carlos?

IMHO There are several minor faults: lack of detail, raised details (even for movile parts), intake cones molded in fuselage, etc... all of them can be fixed or improved by a serious modeler. But the the front part of fuselage, from wing root leading edge to the nose; including intakes, canopy, cockpit and nose; that is undersized enough to be evident. That part just does not look a Mirage and it is beyond any attept to fix it.

But, at the same time, it is a good base for Whiffing!! :cheers:

Captain Canada

Excuse me, Sir....you're standing on my map !

Great looking kit....looks like fun ! I'd love a Pucara. And does that harrier come with ground crew ? Is the kit still available individually ?

:cheers:
