 I remember seeing a 1/200th B-52 with warp Nacelles on it at the annual Austin (Tx ) show a couple of years
ago...

In the 'land speed' category, J. Walter Christie built some very fast prototypes toward the end of his career-
I'd have to look up the actual stats, but spped on the gound was certainly his primary goal...UM kits of the
BT series would be a good palce to start in 1/72, and Italeri made a BT-5 in 1/35, though I'm not sure if its
readily available.

EDIT: Still don't know about the Italeri kit, but Squadron has the  Zvezda BT-5 for about twenty dollars US.

Heheh...an Me 262C with lorin ramjets...
