Almost a month ago there where some pictures posted by my fellow countryman, Nils. I promised to post some of mine also but I got behind on some work. Finaly managed to catch up so here are some of mine from the day before, arrival day. Great shots, as always, Patrick ! I have to once again admit to my jealousy over the things you get to see over there. The last two years here, the only fighter I've seen is a Hornet !

Great pics of the Turkish Stars...those birds look so good in that colour scheme. The F-5 is such a beautifully shaped aeroplane. Love the A-7s as well, looking very sharp in the special paint ! The pirate especially. What's up with that white 'thing' ? Are you guys flying Embrears now ? You should be smart like the Danes, and fly Challengers, eh ? I also have to admit to not liking that new roundel with the stars...too cheesy looking. Might look good on a brochure, but not on a warplane. But on that note, I do love the flag/ map markings on the Sea King. That's a very nice touch, and really seems to balance out the whole aircraft, with the orange nose.

Some beauty shots from the TLP as well. Love the big smoky old AWACS !

And the new warbirds update is a beauty as well, particularly the Hurricane coming over the top, the Spit ( is it landing or just flying by ? ) and that ultra-low level flyby of the B-17s and Mustang....wicked !

They might look sharp, but if you go to see them, remember to bring a good book. They literally spend minutes regrouping into new formations, while out of sight.

Hehe, everything is debatable The RDAF has had lots of problems (suprise!) with them...

I think its nice Up the EU! Looks a bit messy though. A purely EU roundel with no Belgian roundels would be nicer...

Thanks Captain, always a pleasure to post here.

I must admit, although we still getr to see more diffrent aircraft then you seem to do, there is a lesser variety every year. Fortunately, there are several "old timers/warbirds' that make an appearance. More of those every year so that is a good thing.

The Turkish stars are indeed a very nice addition to the airshow circuit lately. Since last year we get to see them again after been gone for several years.
No need for a book either tis time as they stayed pretty close tot the field. The F 5"s are beginning to show their age though. 2 aircraft where grounded  so both spare aircraft had to be used.

Nope, no challengers here. And the Embraers are doing great. Looking better also I think. But the new roundels, fortunately only applied to transport aircraft don't look to good to me either.  Better drop the stars (and the EU but that's another matter, not to be discussed here). But he, what can one do when the big shots want to make a small county look like part of a bitg thing.

Thanks for the compliments on the TLP pictures also. Not my best i must admit but the weather isn't helping either these days (ore should I say months )

So you had a previeuw on the Legends show also he  Posting some pictures in another tread today as i didn't have much time to do so yet.
My favorite show of the year this one. Don't know which spitfire you're talking about but if the wheels are down, it is landing, otherwise it is a flyby. Fighter pilots at Duxford don't do many fly bys with wheels down. It's all about action there. Fast passes, taking the aircraft to the limits (within safety limits offcours) ans generaly making a big spectacle.
