How grey is grey?

A pair of ideas I had for this GB have left me with the question "How grey is grey"?    Simply put, is hemp or an 'extra-light British Slate Grey'  acceptable?

The ideas are a Desert Camel from Sopwith as an early member of these Mercenaries of Marrakech that get brought up from time to time painted in shades of Hemp and light blue/pink markings, along with a Coastal Command  Camel Corps on floats, also from Sopwith  in white and 'extra light British Slate Grey' or 'Extra Extra Extra Light PC-10' also with lo-viz markings.

I'm not yet committing to the build as  Ye Olde Greate Move is impending and will disrupt life for a couple months but just am curious as to people's opinions as to color-appropriateness of my ideas.    If too far out, no foul.

The "Pink Baron" is a bit too much, however.  LoL.

Hmm... I would have to say that hemp would be out for sure. Although it fits the spirit of low-vis gray, any plane colored that would stick out like a sore thumb if parked between a bunch of standard NATO interceptors. Letting it in would open up a whole can of worms, then euro one and lizard would have to count.

I'm not 100% sure what extra light slate grey looks like but if it's still more green than anything else, it's out too.

But you could always paint a usually-gray type in those colors and it'd still count...

Goobs, that's what I figured and inherently came to agree with several days after posting.    Extra, extra, extra, extra light British Slate Grey will still be a very olive-toned lo-viz shade.    Not to worry, they'll get built someday.   But if I can come up with some sort of tricked out Ice Grey Camel that rolled out of Sopwith's factory...............
