Sufreakinperb! Absolutely love the work that went into that one, the backstory and the finish on the completed aircraft. Truly a masterpiece in my mind. If we ever start What If? Monthly magazine, I nominate that baby for a photoshopped cover and a centrefold!

Err Guys, dont go mad, the photos do hide some noticable flaws that can be seen in real life, it could really have done with a a couple more weeks of PSR to tidy up bits as i found in handling during painting that some areas showed up flaws unnoticed after priming. I also think i may have cracked some of the wing seams on the intakes and leading edge from handling it whilst spraying.

Its actually not that hard a conversion, the microstrip planking method appears to be quite a simple way to bulk out a fuselage to get the correct girth without having to start from scratch. If anyone else tries it then ideally replacement intakes for the Victor wing would be desirable, for that mater a better Victor wing would be nice.

Hopefully it might inspire Wooksta to get his V-1000 back into gear, but as he's gone a bit mossie mad this summer, we'll have to wait and see.

I put it on the front page to try out the article posting on the website and hopefully some of you old firm will try creating your own articles (hint, hint)

Hey, don't sell yourself short....that thing is awesome ! I love the look of her in those colours. In the 3/4 shot from the rear, she looks real ! I like the underside shot as well...what an awesome machine that would have been...if only !

Cheers

It's alreet, I suppose.

Aww! Come on Lee,  it's a really good looking model.

I've got plans on doing the Atlantic and a HP-111C Lee and when I see models like you two have done, I just get awed by them.  It's going to make my job very hard to have them look anywhere near as good.

You can be as humble as you like Geoff, I'm still floored by it!

It might only be a display problem at my end, but when I pull up the home page, the article and images hang over into the text on the right margin.

The model is very nice, by the way.  I am very much impressed.
