Pics of the Brno air show

Hello all:

I spent today at the Czech International Air Festival At Brno's Turany airport. It was smaller than usual this year and not a lot of fast jets to be had in the flying program.

The strangest thing was that the static park was totally devoid of F-16s and Tornados. In fact the only F-16 in attendance was a single Belgian aircraft in the flying displays.

Anyway, here's just a few pictures of the static park and the few passable flying pics I managed (my camera really isn't ideal for high speed photography).

I hope to have more up soon.

Why is there a Kangaroo on the side of that Hind...?

Its a deer actually, the scheme is actually called the "Golden Hind", sort of a page from mythology in concept.

Its really impressive close up around the nose area. I have to wonder if Hasegawa got the decals right in their recently reissued Hind kit to represent this bird.
