every year the european SAR squadrons host an intersquadron SARmeet. its basicly the same as the NATO  tigermeet, but instead of combat missions, the exercises include Presision winching, navigation tests and teambuilding sessions.

since the Belgians 40th SAR squadron won the competition in Leeuwarden (Netherlands) last year, it was our turn to host the competition. there were 8 participants in the competition this year.

Belgian AF: Seaking Mk.48
Belgian Navy: Alouette III
Spanish Air Force: SA330
French Air Force: SA330
Netherlands Air Force: AB412SP
Polish Air Force: Mil Mi-8 Hip
German Navy: Seaking Mk.41
Italian Air Force: HH-3F Pelican.

and here are the pictures, video will follow soon.

Nice pics, Nils.  That Alouette III is kind of dinky compared to the rest.  Do the specialize in winching cats or something  ;D  Mind you I wouldn't send it away if I was in the drink.

Nice.  I also noticed the lack of British participation :banghead:

thanks guys, the RAF was gonna particitape with a Seaking HAR.3, but had to make a last minute cancelation.
the Czechs were expected to with a W-3A Sokol, but they also had to cancel at the last minute :(

HAR3's have such high airframe hours on them now, and so few crews available I'd be surprised if any participate in any shows/meets/exercises this year at all. Will probably be the same for rest of this year and next. Also, they 'go tech' frequently due to cut-backs and shortages in the maintenance budget.
