OK chaps, having searched high and low in the loft....could I find my TSR2s??
Could I heck!!
They were downstairs safe in what Mid calls "my playroom"!!!

So...I have my Airfix 1/72nd TSR2.
It'll be built mostly from the box for the USAF.

Are there any building tips, problems I should be aware of? :tornado:

The one I build back in the 1-week GB had a couple problems.  The fit at the top of the wing and fuselage was not too good.  I didn't realize until I had it together that I should have put spacer under the wing piece so that the top of it would be even with the top of the fuselage.  So I ended up filling it in with putty.  And the tail end is a real pain in the butt.  Trying to get the fuselage parts lined up  with the aft end takes some work.  I had to glue it up in sections. Glue a little, wait for the glue to cure then do another section.  I was surprised that the complex fit of the fuselage parts and the bombbay/wheelwell parts went pretty well.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

I've not built mine yet radish, but on ARC and ATF (the airfix tribute forum) there's lots of tips threads.

Thanks....looks like a bit of sanding, fitting, pushing and filler.
That's OK.
Starting next week.
