If my eyes are following the path the bullets would take from the guns correctly I'd pity any engine tech who had to contend with the aftermath of a live firing test. Not much of the top of the engine or ring left after that I would think.

Good eye, upnorth! If I could do it all over again, I'd leave the fuselage guns off and fill in the gun trough. There were gun barrels molded into the P-26 engine I grafted on which would be an advanced feature for that era.
