J.P. did me the solid of doing a profile of an F-5 with Draken wings (so cool) See J.P.'s thread. Here is the relationship of the parts as I have not had time to actually start the project. Hopefully this will inspire ;D

That is the way J.P. drew it with the exhausts past the wing trailing edges
I will do mine just slightly more forward with the fuselage

The countours of the area ruling on the Draken wings and the F-5  fuse match up perfectly. All I will have to do is shave the forward part of the intakes off the F-5 and I will have an F-5 XL or a twin engined Draken with a longer ,sleeker nose

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Think that with the remains you can build a Draken with F-5 wings, tailplane and intakes.

Damn - does this mean I have to push my silly F-20 (two siamesed F-5s) up the list, in order to have a dogfight double?

Nice project STS: I'll be following this one.

That'll look interesting indeed in plastic, STS.  It looked good in lines, now let's see the result of your Putty-fu and the plastic.
Putty-fu, Scratch-jutsu and Bash-chi, the sacred martial arts of the What-If. Mastering them, is Ancient Chinese Secret.

Just your friendly neighbourhood Mad Scientist and Ship-whiffer.

Overkill? Nah, it's Insurance.  So are the 20" guns.

Glad ya'll like her. I am looking forward to building it. I have to first get across the country ,finish the MiGina, the RoT navy fighter and all that is after my truck gets out of the shop so I wouldn't push up any projects. :o
