While I was super pissed that they picked the 22 instead of the much better 23, you do have to admit that it is a very competitive aircraft in the wide world of air to air combat. It outclasses everything else in spades, though the 1.44 comes close to the same standards for air superiority. The Typhoon is yards behind.

Personally, I think we would have been better off just buying SU-37's and more Superbugs. Sherman tanks outran the much superior German tanks via attacking in numbers, not in quality.
