Phew, thought I might be the only one for a mo!  Yeah, I thought it was just a bit too much, there's thousands (literally) to choose from.  I don't think it's a problem if it's not 100% faithfull, as long as you can pretty much identify that it was directly inspired by the profile.

There's been a proliferation of blank profiles recentley, where would we stand on those?
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I'll confess as to being one of those "whiny biachs" who asked for a couple of profiles right around the time that the gb got into gear, but I'll agree to that rule change!

While I love this idea for a group build, I have to admit to falling flat on my face and not finishing last years.  :banghead:  I'm really trying to be cautious this year and not commit to any builds until they are closer and I know I can complete the build in the alloted time. I really feel like I let down the folks who come up with the idea, the moderators and the other participants when there are a bunch of people who say they want to participate, then a handful start, and a small few finish. I don't want to let any one down this year, including myself. I am trying to concentrate on stuff I've had on my bench for at least a year and still be able to work in a few GB's.

I would like to see this one go through again, it is a great idea, and has TONS of material to inspire and choose from.
