I've drawn up some 1/72 scale plans for the CV-10 somewhere. They're based on the FS9 version with some mods to fit in with the various anomalies discussed earlier in the thread about boom distances and wing span etc.

I can email them if anyone's that interested.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Latest issue (No.82 Feb/March 2015) of ModelArt Australia has a build up article on the 1/72 Planet Models Nomad kit (which was released in 2011).
It's resin as were both (1/72 & 1/48) Uncle Les kits.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I wonder when the offical report on the OV-10G+ will be out. there could be plenty of life in the Bronco and that opens it up to lots of what if.

a light maritime patrol aircraft with Sea spray radar (like the Lynx HAS) and sea skua missiles?
or hellfire/brimstone missiles

There's a thread on this site where that very subject is discussed. Makes interesting reading.
