Such as what I uploaded in the image below can be quite handy for scribing lines and other features on your models.

Good for scribing in "smiley faces" (upper right and left) and "big, mean monster face" (lower center)!  ;D

Good call.  I had not considered using the eraser shield for that.  The main thing is that it is flexible and very cheap at less than a $1.00 in most stores that carry them so acquisition is less painful on the wallet when compared to the PE scribing templates offered by Verlinden and others that cost so much more.
