M60A3(ORK) opfor training tank.

During the early 90's it became apparent that new opfor (opposing force) tank was required for training by the royal orcadies army. After some searching it was decided to buy 15 M60A3 from the USA the tanks ended up being gifted to the orcadies armed forces as they were redundant stocks anyway.

After some modifications witch included new battle simulation equipment sensors and a new paint job the tanks were deployed on to the south ronaldsay ranges to act as opfor by the duty armoured regiment.

Here is the model it is a 1/72 scale revel M60A3.

Hay thanks for the kinds words guys been off work sick for the last month with not a lot to do but build. :banghead:
I was going with a sort of modern russian look  with the camo glad you all like it. :cheers:
