My two current projects:

1. A simple, not too complicated Whif: a Flakpanzer Gepard in Canadian service.

The only change to the Tamiya kit is the addition of a cargo box to the rear of the hull. This is often seen on current Gepards. I also have some camo netting to go on the rear of the hull, all rolled up. Nearly done with this one.

2. Something more complicated: a way upgunned StuG IV:

This one's more elaborate. Replaced the 7.5cm gun with a 105mm cannon from a S-tank kit; muzzle brake is from a Dragon Tiger I, since I took this pic I have added auxiliary fuel drums from a T-72 (you can see them in teh background); it's getting better sights and some other odds and sods. I'll post the backstory when I get the model completed as the story is sorta complex. BTW, the gun is actually in proportion; the angle I took the pic makes the gun look bigger on the hull than it really is.

Nifty stuff Jeremy.  The StuG really looks the part.

Updates to the StuG:

I've got the fuel drums mounted, as well as the schnorkel tube, the smoke grenade launchers, and the new sights added (Sorry for the pix quality; for some reason my flash refused to go off. Wrong setting prolly).

Side view overall. I realized today that it looks like a 120%-scale ASU-85.

Front 3/4. I've added the concrete armour but have puttied it to look like cast steel. I'll be adding welds before I paint.

Closer view. I've swapped out the sights for a box-mounted main sight and divergent rangefinding sights (made from the vision blocks of the Tiger I I've been using for parts). Got the photoetch smoke grenade launchers from there too.

Rear 3/4. Fuel drums mounted. I also modified the exhaust: although you can't see it well in this pic, I rotated the muffler 90° and cut off the tiny exhaust pipes. More will be added to this area.

I've decided to not go with the Schurzen. It looked clunky with them on, so I eliminated them and their mounts.

Now this is a pretty mean StuH IV, Rally.  That's just bloody cool.  Extended range fueltanks, and the 105mm howie, that just looks groovy.  Seriously cool.

That ain't no howie, Saur -- it's a 105mm anti-tank cannon! Recoil city!

Thanks for the kind words -- I'm really enjoying this build. As with all my Whifs, this one is sorta taking on a life of it's own. All things being equal, I'll be painting it up in Ambush camo, with postwar iron crosses and WWII Wehrmacht unit markings. For a whif, i'm doing a hell of a lot of research on it to get the markings right. It's for the on-again-off-again WWIII in the late 40's idea floating around these boards.

I dunno too much about recoil city with that muzzle brake on it.  That's a monster of a brake.  I'd hate to be in the tank in that thing's crosshairs.
