The Rat

Just posted three of my possibilities over there:

1) 1/288th scale An-71 in U.N. service

2) 56 Squadron RAF Supermarine Swift F.2 in Operation Musketeer colours

3) Boulton Paul Bunyip, an Australian tankbuster conversion of the Defiant

Might try some more.

I started a new one tonight based on a 1/72 MiG 37 Black Ops gave me and the wings from the F-15 that I used for the Stingray  thread coming soon

I'm also having a go with my RAAF Washington R4.

Will post some pics over here as well when I have made some progress.

It's nice to see the rules of convention being broken more and more often.

I spent some time this evening and browsed through a number of the topics in the ARC What If Group Build forum board and was quite surprised at some of the projects currently underway.  Some of those guys are spending quite a lot of money on their WHIF project and I am quite impressed at what I saw in the topics.

Some great builds and great profiles going over there.

I know several of the group have builds there but there are others that look familiar but are using different handles.

Has the Whiff carpet been rolled out to any of them to bring their madness here where it will be enjoyed for years?

There is some exceptionally good stuff over on the ARC group build, some of which I may just borrow.

Not yet, I need to do that though because there is some real talent over there.

I suppose we could, in a back handed salute kind of way, do an ARC group Build????  The premise being that entrants build a real world kit and at least one BF109/FW190/F16 be included!

With special threads to nitpick panel lines, number of rivets, correct RLM color, etc
